Best known by it's Italian name 'Guanciale' (gwan-char-leh). This is the star of the show in many Italian pasta dishes including Carbonara and Amatriciana however, because it's so difficult to find in this country it's often substituted for pancetta.

Our cured cheek lardons are the authentic ingredient that create a rich flavour no other part of the pig can match!

Ingredients

Rare breed pork cheek (150g used per 100g of finished product), sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, preservative: potassium nitrate, antioxidant: ascorbic acid.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Once opened refrigerate and consume within 3 days. Suitable for home freezing.
